singapore's top 75 companies revealed: randstad employer brand research 2017.

The Randstad Employer Brand Awards (previously known as the Randstad Award) is making its sixth appearance in Singapore. Recruitment firm Randstad, in anticipation of the upcoming announcement of Singapore’s most attractive companies on the 20th of April 2017, released the Top 75 Singapore organisations list.

Commonly known as the people’s choice awards, the Randstad Employer Brand Research awards is a leading voice in employer branding conversations, providing dedicated content to various target audiences, supported by the leading research in employer branding.

We are proud to say that the Randstad Employer Brand Research is the most representative and inclusive employer brand research in the world. From our 2017 employer branding research, we aimed to garner the public perception of Singapore’s largest employers based on these three criterias; overall brand awareness, absolute attractiveness and relative attractiveness. This builds an even playing field for all participating organisations instead of creating an upper hand to large multinationals with stronger name recognition than smaller local companies.

Country Director of Randstad Singapore, Ms Jaya Dass said, "We now enter into the sixth year of the Randstad Employer Brand Research awards in Singapore. Through the years we have seen the Employer Brand Research has grown in importance as a focal point for organisations looking to improve their employer brand to attract the very best talent into their ranks. While we continue to shape the world of work, we also see how the landscape continues to evolve in Singapore - this year we see 18 new organisations break into the Top 75 list.”

about randstad employer brand research.

Celebrating its 17th edition globally, the Randstad Employer Brand Research Award is presented each year to the most attractive employer in 26 countries across the globe. It is based on the outcome of the most representative and inclusive employer branding research in the world. The outcome of the Employer Brand Award is based on public perception and focuses on three main areas: overall brand awareness, absolute attractiveness and relative attractiveness. This creates a level playing field for all competing companies instead of giving an advantage to large multinationals with higher name recognition than smaller companies. This award is not open for nomination and the results are based solely on the opinions and votes of the local workforce – making it the only award that is truly representing the people’s choice. The 75 largest companies are selected in each participating country, usually with more than 1,000 employees. This list is presented to a representative cross section of relevant respondents based on region, age and gender. Respondents were asked to identify companies they recognise and indicate if they would like to work for them. This is then followed up with an evaluation of attractiveness factors, such as salary, benefits, work atmosphere and job content, for each of the companies.
