Designed for a proactive governance professional, this high-visibility position grants comprehensive ownership over operational risk frameworks, regulatory oversight, and enterprise resilience across business operations.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and advisor governance frameworks to maintain seamless adherence to local authority standards.
- Lead operational risk reviews, risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), and business impact analyses for new product launches, digital integrations, and vendor arrangements.
- Drive business continuity and operational resilience exercises, ensuring testing protocols align with regulatory expectations and internal governance standards.
- Manage end-to-end interactions with auditors, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies while steering the timely resolution of audit observations and control deficiencies.
- Deliver strategic risk reporting and executive insights to board-level risk committees, driving continuous improvement in control environments.
About the manager/team
Working directly under an experienced head of function, you will join a progressive and collaborative governance team that offers direct exposure to C-suite stakeholders and cross-departmental strategy.
Skills and experience required
- Solid grasp of local regulatory guidelines, operational risk management tools (RCSA, BCM), and compliance testing methodologies.
- Proven track record in operational risk oversight, compliance reviews, or project governance within the financial services sector.
- Degree in any relevant field, with familiarity or exposure to digital transformation, artificial intelligence, or automation tools considered an advantage.
- Self-motivated team player with an agile mindset, capable of managing multi-stakeholder initiatives and navigating dynamic regulatory landscapes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities with the ability to engage, influence, and partner effectively with stakeholders across all organizational tiers.
