- Lead the strategic direction for AWS cloud financial management (FinOps), ensuring all cloud expenditures align with broader organizational goals
- Analyze AWS cloud costs deeply and provide actionable, business-relevant insights to key stakeholders
- Formulate clear action plans and cost-optimization guidelines for the DevOps team to execute
- Design and enforce enterprise-wide governance policies, best practices, and budgeting frameworks for cloud usage
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, IT, and business leadership to maximize the ROI of cloud investments. Monitor cloud performance metrics continuously to pinpoint and implement efficiency improvements.
skills and requirement
- Min 8 years of experience in cloud operations or IT finance, backed by at least 3 years specifically in a FinOps or cloud cost leadership capacity
- Deep technical expertise with a heavy emphasis on AWS cost optimization—including savings plans, spot pricing, and reserved instances
- Hands-on proficiency with FinOps platforms and cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, or Cloudability
- Proven track record of establishing cost accountability models and FinOps governance frameworks within large organizations
- Strong analytical capabilities geared toward cloud forecasting, budgeting, and building sustainable cost-reduction strategies
- Chinese speaking required as you need to liaise with Chinese counterparts who can only speak and write Mandarin
