My client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL. You will partner closely with our dynamic APAC Commercial and Digital Marketing teams to transform complex raw data into clear, actionable business strategies. Experience or interest in AI applications is a strong advantage as there’s a chance to involve with AI related projects.
about the job
- Build and maintain scalable, well-documented data pipelines across ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and third-party platforms
- Take ownership of localized master data migration projects, working directly with our North Asia teams to extract systems data and process localized Mandarin-language datasets.
- Support master data management (MDM) and assist market teams in regional data consolidation and migration
- Collaborate on long-term data strategies, including the deployment of localized AI models and automation workflows into production.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to drive data-led decision-making and generate actionable insights
- Ensure high data quality and performance across cloud and on-premise environments
- Explore and integrate new data sources, including omnichannel platforms, to enhance commercial intelligence
- Develop and deploy AI models (preferred but not mandatory)
- Maintain data governance, security, and compliance across platforms
skills and experience required
Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL. Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and working with data warehouses.
Skilled in data modeling, data integration, and data cleaning. Ability to optimize queries and data flows for performance and scalability.
Experience handling commercial, marketing, digital media, or supply chain data models is highly advantageous.
