This mid-to-senior functional specialist role focuses on the analysis, design, configuration, and delivery of core reporting solutions within a high-profile corporate banking transformation project.
Lead the end-to-end analysis, functional design, and specification mapping for critical operational and financial reporting streams.
Configure specialized data models, financial feeders, extraction scripts, and processing rules within the core system framework.
Partner directly with business stakeholders, product controllers, and operations managers to map complex trade lifecycle requirements.
Develop robust ledger reconciliation frameworks, mark-to-market valuation extracts, and profit and loss attribution reports.
Manage end-to-end system integration testing and user acceptance testing, investigating data anomalies across platform schemas.
skills and experience required
Minimum 5 to 8 years of dedicated functional experience working on Murex MX.3 Datamart reporting platforms within a corporate or investment banking environment.
Advanced configuration expertise across Murex components including Dynamic Tables (PL, CS, DT, MV, LRB), Feeders, Extractions, and processing scripts.
Strong technical domain knowledge in capital markets products, including foreign exchange, money markets, interest rate derivatives, fixed income, and equities.
Practical proficiency using advanced SQL querying across Sybase or Oracle databases alongside Unix, Linux command-line, and Shell scripting.
Direct experience handling financial messaging types (SWIFT MT300, MT320, MT202, MT199) and managing batch job execution through Control-M.
