Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, you will drive financial integrity by supporting and overseeing the day-to-day accounting and cost accounting functions for SEA entities. A core function involves overseeing the monthly closing process, reviewing financial statements, and facilitating statutory audits and year-end closing activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies. You will be a key collaborator in managing cash resources, producing short and medium-term cash flow forecasts, and coordinating fortnight payment runs with local approvers. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in business partnering with external service providers for local tax matters, including GST, CIT, ECI, and transfer pricing. Finally, you will play a crucial role in supervising and mentoring staff across SEA region while supporting the Director in IT systems implementation, workflow transformation, and other ad-hoc assignments.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
- Relevant knowledge of ERPs; experience in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly regarded
- A CPA or certified member of ACCA would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Proven capability to manage regional teams, supervise staff, and interact effectively through excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
