Our client is an established global company with over 20 years of experience in the industry. As part of their plan to aggressive growth plan in Asia, they are now hiring a new IT Governance Manager | GRC | Information Security to be based here in their headquarters here in Singapore.
About the job
Reporting directly to the Head of GRC / Information Security, your role involves:
- Oversee the complete technology policy lifecycle, focusing on streamlining and rationalizing bloated policy frameworks into practical, maintainable guidelines.
- Establish criteria to define system criticality, ensuring risk-based prioritization across governance and compliance assessments.
- Critically review inherited governance tools, assessment questionnaires, and processes to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
- Plan and execute annual technology compliance reviews across IT domains, analyzing recurring themes and monitoring remediation progress.
- Lead internal and external audit coordination, ensuring proper audit evidence validation, response management, and issue tracking.
- Advise system owners and project teams on policy interpretation, balancing strict compliance requirements with practical business enablement.
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have at least 5 years of experience in IT Governance and compliance. Exposure to ISO 27001, PDPA, COBIT) is required for this role. Proven ability to define risk-based controls and evaluate system criticality within technology operations. Solid grasp of risk and compliance concepts, policy lifecycle management, and hands-on experience handling audit evidence.
