Reporting to the CFO, you will act as the driving force behind the Group’s capital strategy and corporate development plans, encompassing end-to-end management of our fundraising efforts across debt and equity markets. You will be instrumental in identifying and executing growth opportunities, such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, while overseeing cash flow optimization and liquidity management. Additionally, you will serve as a key advisor to the executive team, leveraging your financial modeling expertise and market insights to guide high-level investment, capital allocation decisions, and relationships with key external financial institutions.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Economics, or related field with professional accreditation would be highly desirable
- Relevant years of professional background spanning corporate finance, investment banking, capital markets, or corporate treasury.
- Demonstrated success in leading and closing M&A deals, as well as executing complex debt or equity fundraising exercises.
- Highly proficient in building robust financial models, conducting valuations, and performing deep-dive investment appraisals.
- Solid experience in managing corporate development activities, encompassing joint ventures, acquisitions, and business divestments.
- A strong grasp of liquidity optimization, cash flow forecasting, and maintaining a healthy capital structure while mitigating financial risks.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the confidence to influence C-level executives, external financial institutions, and investors.
- Capable of crafting compelling investor decks, financing proposals, and board materials, alongside keeping a pulse on shifting capital market and regulatory trends.
- A highly driven, meticulous individual who adapts quickly and performs well under the pressure of a rapidly evolving commercial landscape.
