In this role, you will be a key contributor to the modernization of our enterprise-level container platforms. You will focus on automating infrastructure, optimizing deployment workflows, and ensuring high availability across environments.
key responsibilities include:
- Handle the architecture, setup, configuration, and health monitoring of enterprise Kubernetes and OpenShift cluster environments.
- Streamline provisioning and configuration management workflows utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines, managing integration from code commit through to continuous delivery tools.
- Partner with Development, Security, and Network teams to onboard applications, troubleshoot complex container issues, and align infrastructure with organizational security policies.
- Conduct system assessments, plan upgrades/migrations, and document architectural designs, recovery procedures, and operational best practices.
skills and experience required:
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience deploying and managing production-grade Kubernetes or RedHat OpenShift environments.
- Proficient with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible (including testing frameworks).
- Practical experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with Helm charts and GitOps/app-of-apps methodologies.
- Robust knowledge of Linux administration, virtualization, enterprise networking, and container security compliance.
- Familiarity with application development frameworks (ideally Java Spring Boot) to better assist development teams with platform onboarding is highly advantageous.
