Reporting to the Group Finance Controller, you will oversee the full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing cycles, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of consolidated financial statements and management reports across multiple entities. A core part of your mandate will involve directly leading our local in-house finance professionals while strategically guiding, monitoring, and collaborating with our offshore Center of Excellence team to ensure seamless cross-border workflows and high-quality deliverables. Furthermore, you will participate in ongoing finance transformation by proactively identifying operational bottlenecks, standardizing accounting policies, and driving continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and scalability of the RTR function.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA).
- Relevant years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with a proven track record in a managerial or lead capacity overseeing full-cycle financial reporting.
- Prior experience managing, transitioning, or closely collaborating with an offshore Center of Excellence (COE) or Shared Service Center (SSC) environment would be highly desirable.
- Strong technical proficiency in regional statutory compliance, corporate tax filing requirements, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Solid hands-on experience utilizing enterprise-level ERP systems, coupled with a strong aptitude for leveraging financial technology and data tools to streamline operations.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability across diverse geographic locations and cultures.
