Reporting to the Country Director, you will serve as a critical member of the finance leadership team, overseeing all core finance and operational accounting functions across the entity. This role spans financial reporting, planning and analysis, budgeting, business partnering, plant and manufacturing finance, compliance, and corporate initiative support. We're looking for a commercially driven leader with strong business acumen, who thrives in partnering with operational and engineering leaders to drive performance and transformation. The ideal candidate combines solid technical depth with a forward-looking, strategic mindset, and enjoys a highly hands-on approach to building out finance workflows from the ground up. You'll be empowered to lead the overall finance function, ensure alignment with group-level priorities, drive process digitalization, and provide clear financial insights directly to senior management and the Board of Directors.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
- Relevant years of progressive finance experience, with years of experience in a senior leadership role overseeing teams
- Prior background in external audit or a recognized CPA/CA qualification is highly preferred.
- Strong track record in leading finance functions including FP&A, statutory and management reporting, standard costing, and localized variance analysis.
- Experience supporting board-level governance, managing internal controls, and overseeing regulatory, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Commercially oriented with a hands-on attitude and a proven ability to partner cross-functionally with factory floor operations and engineering to drive financial insight and business value.
- Skilled in financial systems and process improvement, with exposure to digital transformation initiatives or financial automation.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; adaptable in working with diverse personalities and driving alignment in dynamic settings.
- Resilient, hands-on, forward-thinking, and committed to continuous learning and team development.
