An engaging 12-month contract opportunity has emerged for a Technical Sourcing Specialist to drive regional procurement transition and supply chain localization projects.
- Formulate and implement strategic procurement plans for designated mechanical, custom-machined, and fabrication commodities.
- Source, assess, and qualify regional vendor partners to advance component localization initiatives and bolster supply security.
- Direct commercial quotation processes, cost analysis, competitive negotiations, and contract administration.
- Partner with engineering and operational teams across the region to ensure sourced components adhere to technical specifications.
- Identify operational efficiencies by utilizing digital engineering systems and data-driven analysis to enhance supply performance.
skills and experience required.
- Proven technical procurement, supplier development, or mechanical engineering background within industrial manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on exposure to engineered commodities such as castings, machined components, or fabrication projects.
- Demonstrated competency in managing supplier agreements, cost-of-ownership evaluations, and regional vendor development.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and commercial negotiation capabilities within dynamic project settings.
- Business proficiency in Mandarin is required to interpret technical drawings, review engineering documentation, and liaise with suppliers in China
