As the key financial advisor to sourcing leadership, you will evaluate strategic sourcing initiatives, develop models for total cost of ownership (TCO) and should-cost analysis, and establish target costs for components. You will also design and govern the global procurement savings program, ensuring consistent methodologies for measuring gross and net savings, while analyzing commodity market trends to forecast cost impacts. Furthermore, you will manage the annual budget and monthly forecasting for purchase price variances (PPV), deliver comprehensive management reporting, oversee financial compliance for procurement spend, guide make-versus-buy decisions, and drive system improvements, all while mentoring and developing a high-performing global finance team.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
- Relevant progressive financial experience with a strong background in supply chain, procurement, or operations finance.
- Proven experience as a finance business partner to procurement and supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems, alongside advanced financial modeling capabilities and experience utilizing BI tools like Power BI and Tableau for large dataset analysis.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to clearly connect operational drivers to financial outcomes.
- Sharp decision-making capabilities, high ethical standards, and a strong mindset oriented toward governance.
- A track record of motivating finance personnel and fostering collaboration among diverse, cross-functional groups.
- Highly persuasive communicator adept at building relationships and guiding strategic conversations with C-suite executives and Board members
