Our client is one of the major players in the semiconductor back-end equipment market. They are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing by orchestrating material flow, managing shipping logistics, and maintaining accurate system reporting.
about the job
- Production Scheduling: Map out, schedule, and track the entire manufacturing cycle for equipment builds, from the initial order release through to final sign-off.
- Material Readiness: Guarantee that the assembly floors are consistently supplied with the correct volume of parts and components at the right stations to prevent downtime.
- Shortage Mitigation: Proactively resolve part shortages by collaborating with the purchasing team to secure delivery ETAs. Escalate any critical supply bottlenecks that threaten manufacturing or shipping deadlines.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Liaise across multiple departments, including procurement, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and customer operations to align daily and weekly manufacturing schedules with business objectives.
- Order Execution: Trigger production orders on time to facilitate equipment assembly and customer-specific modifications.
- Logistics & Matrices: Oversee complex delivery matrices, factoring in model variations, product conversions, and demonstration units to align with the overarching build plan. Prepare necessary shipping paperwork and engage with external freight partners.
- Reporting & Meetings: Actively present data and share insights during Master Production Schedule (MPS) alignments, shortage resolution huddles, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in Materials and Production planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP software is a plus.
