Our Client, a MNC with regional presence and a leader in the sector they operate in. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their dynamic team to oversee their accounting operations.
about the job
Reporting to the Finance manager you will review monthly closing of accounts which include preparing of supporting schedules, consolidation of financial statements and financial reports for management and statutory reporting. You will review and authorise payables and receivables invoices, handle GST reporting, corporate tax reporting and deferred tax computations. You will ensure compliance with the company's policies, FRS and statutory requirements. You will also prepare and monitor cash flow reports and support any ad-hoc improvement projects.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Banking/Finance or related field
- Prior experience in audit or supervisory role would be highly desirable
- A good team player, responsible and meticulous with good problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and equipped with good communication skills
- Proficient in Excel would be a plus
