rately and promptly captured for the Japan market. A key part of the job is preparing monthly accruals and reconciling accounts, while also tracking intercompany transactions. The position also acts as a key user for financial systems, resolving any integration issues and supporting system enhancements to improve overall efficiency. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with both internal teams and external parties, including auditors and government authorities, while staying current on industry trends to ensure compliance. Finally, this is a dynamic position that includes various ad hoc projects and new responsibilities as assigned. The ideal candidate is proactive, a team player, and willing to learn.
Skills and experience required
You must hold a recognized degree in accounting, an ACCA qualification, or an equivalent, and have a JLPT N2 certification or higher to effectively liaise with Japanese stakeholders. We welcome applications from candidates who are eager to kickstart their career in accounting.
