In this position as an experienced Assistant Claims Manager, you will be part of a high performing and detail oriented team. The ideal incumbent will report to the HOD and be responsible for the investigation, evaluation and effectively delivering robust and complex claims solutions with a focus on Third Party Liability Claims across the Apac region.
You will be expected to handle end to end of the claims process which includes investigating and resolving assigned claims within designated authority limits, settlement efforts through high level negotiation and work closely with external counsel on litigation strategies.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining claims excellence, providing mentorship to junior colleagues and collaborating on key projects across various internal departments and assisting in the preparation of specialized reports as and when required.
Skills and experience required
- Law Degree with 5+ years of Third Party Liability Claims handling experience
- Candidates with experienced handling/assessing Financial Lines claims preferred
- Ability to make exceptional judgment and strong analytical skills
- Strong negotiation skills, highly meticulous and attention to detail
- Excellent team player and capable of working effectively both independently and under pressure
