Our client is a listed FMCG company with a wide range of brands under their portfolio. They are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join them.
About the job
In this role, you will manage end-to-end finance and accounting system implementation projects (40% accounting, 30% system-related, 30% ad-hoc matters), including ERP upgrades and automation initiatives. You'll leverage ERP functionalities to streamline workflows, improve data, and support financial reporting, contributing to digital finance transformation. Your responsibilities will also include managing the group insurance portfolio and authorizing all payments (trade, non-trade, reimbursements) while ensuring strict internal control and policy adherence. You will analyze payment workflows for streamlining and automation. Additionally, you'll review contracts, ensure Group SOP compliance, support month-end closing and reporting, manage cash flow and banking, and assist the AFC & CFO on various ad-hoc projects. The ideal candidate is one who is a strong team player, is proactive and has a positive working attitude.
Skills and experience required
A recognised degree in accounting or ACCA or relevant with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Prior system implementation experience is essential, and Big 4 audit experience is a strong plus.
