You will support the overall management of HR Operations and Employee Relations while developing the capability to assume a future HR leadership role. In this role, you will be exposed to the full spectrum of HR functions, including payroll administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, work pass administration, policy development, compliance, and HR transformation initiatives. You will lead and develop a team of HR staff while progressively taking on broader HR management responsibilities. In addition, you will:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, employee records, HR systems, and administration processes.
- Participate in payroll processing, statutory submissions, tax reporting, payroll governance, and annual HR exercises including performance appraisals, salary reviews, bonus administration, and tax reporting.
- Oversee employee relations matters—including enquiries, disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, and workplace issues—and provide advice and guidance to management.
- Act as a key HR representative in union-management engagements and industrial relations, including Collective Agreement (CA) negotiations, interpretation, implementation, and administration.
- Lead, coach, and develop HR team members, set team goals and KPIs aligned with departmental objectives, monitor performance, and promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support the review and implementation of HR policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Participate in HRIS implementation, system migration, process improvement, and HR transformation initiatives.

skills and experience required
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 9-10 years of progressive HR experience with broad exposure across HR Operations, Payroll Administration, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and HR Transformation.
- At least 2–3 years of people management experience with demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
- Experience operating within a structured HR environment in an MNC or large local organization with a workforce of at least 300 employees.
- Hands-on experience in HRIS implementation, system migration, process automation, or HR transformation initiatives.
- Experience in union-management relations and Collective Agreement negotiations is highly preferred.
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry will be an advantage.
