automation engineer / manager (global logistics 3pl).

We are seeking an Automation Engineer / Manager to drive our client's automation initiatives in Singapore. Our client is renowned for using cutting-edge technology to deliver innovative and efficient supply chain solutions for the world's most successful companies.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to lead the identification, trial, and deployment of the latest automation technologies across a vast network of logistics and warehousing operations. Reporting to the regional leadership, you will act as a cross-functional catalyst for change, working with operations, IT, and engineering teams to champion innovation and build the "warehouse of the future."

You will be responsible for developing and executing the automation strategy for the APAC region, covering both mechanical automation (robotics, AGVs, sortation systems) and process automation (RPA, AI-driven solutions).

Responsibilities

• Automation Strategy & Innovation: Develop and execute the automation roadmap, staying ahead of emerging trends to identify new opportunities. You will build strong business cases for investment, including ROI modeling and risk assessments.

• Project Leadership & Execution: Lead project teams to deliver complex automation initiatives from concept to deployment. You will be responsible for evaluating and selecting cutting-edge technologies and ensuring their seamless integration with existing operations.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Partner with internal stakeholders, global teams, and external technology vendors to deliver scalable and effective solutions that meet customer goals.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, industrial automation, or a related field for a Engineer level role. Senior candidates with more than 5 years of relevant experince in a leadership role will be considered for a Manager position.

• A proven track record of successfully delivering complex automation projects (e.g., robotics, ASRS, RPA) in an industrial or logistics environment.

• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
