This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager. You will be a key part of the regional sales team, responsible for driving business development and sales growth for hospital products. The position requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including subsidiaries, to achieve company objectives and market expansion.
About the Job
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Your role involves a blend of strategy and hands-on sales, including monitoring market trends and competitors to shape business strategy, planning and executing new product launches, and preparing proposals for clients. You will also manage sales targets by developing annual budgets and achieving quantity goals for hospital products. Additionally, a key part of your job is to support subsidiary teams by providing sales, technical, and clinical training, monitoring their key account management, and visiting them quarterly to assist with sales and clinical activities. You will also be responsible for building strategic relationships with external partners and regularly reporting on the sales pipeline, client feedback, and market conditions to senior management.
Skills and Experience Required
- 2 years of Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the medical device or hospital products industry.
- Experience in hospital consumables is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and monitor market trends.
- Experience in preparing business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Excellent analytical skills to collect market information, make sales projections, and forecast revenue.
- A proactive and strategic approach to sales and business development.
- Willingness to travel, as the role requires quarterly visits to subsidiaries.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and training skills.
