About the job

In this position as a Captive Insurance Manager, you will be expected to manage the insurance policies and claims of the captive portfolio. You will be required to assist the Group Insurance/Risk Managers to implement group risk management solutions and work closely with brokers on renewal programs and finalise documentations on a timely basis.

The ideal incumbent will be expected to ensure all premiums booked are correct and meet the premium due date and ensure claims fall within policy’s T&C. You will work closely with adjusters, lawyers and liaise with the servicing team on premiums and other insurance related matters. The successful incumbent will also be required to provide reports to the HOD on a monthly basis.

Skills and experience required

• 5+ years of experience in the general insurance or broking industry - ideally with some experience in captive insurance is highly preferred
• Possession of professional insurance qualifications, E.g. ACII or ANZIIF highly preferred
• Strong product knowledge on general insurance industry and familiar with policies and claims process
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task with good time management skills and a sense of ownership
