- Cloud Operations & Deployment:
- Deploy, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure resources (Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity/IAM) across one or more major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, health, security, and cost optimization using cloud-native tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Cloud Monitoring).
- Wintel System Administration:
- Provide expert-level support for Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022) in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot core Wintel services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and Windows clustering.
- Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline operational tasks, patching, and deployment workflows.
- Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
- Troubleshooting & Support:
- Act as a dedicated L2/L3 escalation point for complex system, network, and security incidents impacting cloud-hosted and Wintel workloads.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical issues and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven hands-on experience supporting production workloads in a major public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrable expertise in Wintel administration and support, including complex Active Directory and Windows Server clustering.
- Professional certification in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS SysOps Admin, Azure Administrator Associate, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer) is preferred.
