We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Cloud Security Analyst to join our Enterprise Security Transformation practice. This role is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or professionals early in their career who are passionate about cybersecurity. You will assist our team in delivering and supporting critical security services for our cloud and endpoint environments , playing a key role in safeguarding our data, SaaS applications, and user devices. This position provides an excellent foundation for learning secure cloud infrastructure practices and developing skills in modern enterprise security operations while helping to enhance our organization's overall security posture.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with senior colleagues on security operations tasks , vulnerability management activities , and assessments of network and system architecture.
- Help monitor our technology systems to identify and flag potential security issues.
- Under the guidance of senior team members, assist in protecting our information system assets.
- Participate in regular security audits and compliance verification processes.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls throughout our environment.
- Provide support for vulnerability assessments and assist in the review of penetration testing reports.
- Assist the team with essential documentation, contributions to root cause analysis, and the preparation of security reports.
- Take part in a rotational schedule for occasional after-hours and weekend support.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Security Architect or Team Lead.
skills and requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related technical field.
- A foundational understanding of core security concepts, such as identity management, access control, encryption, and securing SaaS platforms.
- Strong analytical abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
- A strong motivation to learn and build new technical skills within the cloud security domain.
- Exposure to Linux environments, general programming, or shell scripting is beneficial.
- Awareness of common security frameworks and best practices (like OWASP or SSDLC) is desired.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant security certifications (like CompTIA Security+ or an AWS certification) are a plus but are not required.
- Chinese speaking required as you need to liaise with Chinese counterparts who can only speak and write Mandarin
