Job Summary
The Process Integration Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for the entire lifecycle of transferring new semiconductor processes from the development stage to high-volume manufacturing. You will be the central point of a multidisciplinary team, driving projects to meet aggressive targets for yield, quality, and productivity. This position requires a rare mix of deep technical knowledge in semiconductor fabrication and strong leadership to guide and mentor a team of engineers while collaborating with various departments.
Key Responsibilities
... Project Leadership & Process Transfer: You will lead and manage complex process transfer projects, ensuring a seamless transition of new products into mass production. This includes overseeing all phases, from initial design verification and process development to final product ramp-up. You'll be responsible for the execution and coordination of these projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and meet all performance metrics.
Yield & Productivity Improvement: A core part of your role is to act as a driver for continuous improvement. You'll implement and refine processes to boost manufacturing yield and overall productivity. This will involve using advanced data analysis, leveraging quality methodologies such as FMEA, DOE, and SPC, and proactively identifying and addressing root causes of process inefficiencies.
Team Management & Mentorship: You will directly lead a team of talented engineers. Your responsibilities include providing technical guidance, conducting performance evaluations, fostering professional growth, and distributing tasks effectively to meet project deadlines. You'll be expected to create a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will serve as the primary liaison between your team and other critical departments, including Product, Quality & Reliability Assurance (QRA), and Manufacturing Systems (CIM). Your ability to coordinate and integrate the efforts of these groups is essential for resolving technical issues and improving overall product performance.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor process integration, technology development, or product transfer.
Technical Expertise: Candidates must have a solid and comprehensive understanding of device physics, semiconductor fabrication techniques, and the challenges associated with process compatibility and integration. Experience with industry-standard data analysis tools like JMP is highly valued.
Leadership & Soft Skills: We are looking for a proven leader with exceptional project management and problem-solving skills. You must be an effective communicator, comfortable collaborating with both local and international counterparts. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment is critical.
