My client is a well-known agri commodities company who is looking for a Cotton Trader with 1-2 years of related experience to join their rank.

about the job

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers and buyers
• Monitor and manage position risk, including pricing and exposure
• Analyze market trends, supply/demand dynamics, and pricing forecasts
• Track global and regional cotton markets, including production forecasts, trade flows, government policies, and weather patterns
• Provide regular market intelligence updates and trading strategies to internal stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Economics, International Trade, or related field
• 1-2 years relevant experience in cotton or agricultural commodities trading
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Deep understanding of cotton markets and trading principles
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with trading platforms and ERP systems is a plus
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
