We are hiring a Cybersecurity Manager on a 1 year direct contract. This role will see you leading the organisation’s cybersecurity initiatives from enhancing governance processes to managing security technologies and supporting compliance requirements. You’ll be responsible for identifying risk exposure, managing security vendors, and ensuring the implementation of effective controls. While leading a small team, you’ll also occasionally step in for hands-on support when project timelines or resourcing require it. This is a hybrid leadership and execution role suitable for someone who enjoys working in fast-paced, regulated environments.

You’ll join a collaborative and capable team within the IT and risk function. The reporting manager values proactive communication, independence, and accountability. Team members work closely with business units and technical teams, creating a strong foundation for project success and information security awareness across the organisation.
skills and experience required
- Strong experience in cybersecurity governance, architecture, or infrastructure.
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade tools such as IAM, endpoint protection, SIEM, or threat detection systems.
- Ability to interpret and apply audit and regulatory requirements in a practical way.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable in both strategic planning and hands-on execution. Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM and knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure are beneficial.
additional details
This is a direct 1 year contract with a completion bonus. Contract may be extended depending on business needs. Interviews may include up to two rounds, virtual or in person. The role is based in central Singapore, within walking distance of an MRT station.
