My client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer (1 year contract) with strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL. This role will collaborate closely with the Commercial Unit, particularly in Marketing and Digital Marketing, to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should be comfortable engaging with business stakeholders and translating complex data insights into clear, actionable strategies. Experience or interest in AI applications is a strong advantage as there’s a chance to involve with AI related projects.

- Build and maintain scalable, well-documented data pipelines across ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and third-party platforms
- Support master data management (MDM) and assist market teams in regional data consolidation and migration
- Translate business needs into data models supporting sales, customer insights, and pricing strategies
- Collaborate with commercial teams to drive data-led decision-making and generate actionable insights
- Ensure high data quality and performance across cloud and on-premise environments
- Explore and integrate new data sources, including omnichannel platforms, to enhance commercial intelligence
- Develop and deploy AI models (preferred but not mandatory)
- Maintain data governance, security, and compliance across platforms
skills and experience required
Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL. Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and working with data warehouses.
Skilled in data modeling, data integration, and data cleaning. Ability to optimize queries and data flows for performance and scalability.
