about the job As the Property and Casualty (P&C) Broking Director, you will be at the helm of the P&C department, responsible for the overarching strategy, P&L, and operational excellence of the division. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Driving the strategic growth and business development plans for the P&C portfolio across Singapore and regional markets.
- Cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with C-suite clients, key stakeholders, and global underwriting partners.
- Leading complex risk negotiations and designing bespoke insurance programs for large corporate clients across various industries.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to ensure the firm's product offerings remain highly competitive and innovative.
- Ensuring the department adheres to all local regulatory guidelines and internal compliance standards.
about the manager/team You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (Singapore) and work alongside a dynamic, high-performing regional executive committee. You will be leading a robust department consisting of senior brokers, account directors, and support staff. The team culture is highly collaborative, driven, and entrepreneurial. skills and experience required
- A minimum of 12-15 years of proven experience in Property & Casualty insurance broking, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or departmental head capacity.
- Possess relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., CGI, ACII, or equivalent) as recognized by the MAS.
- A stellar track record in driving significant revenue growth, managing P&L, and winning large-scale corporate accounts.
- Exceptional technical knowledge of complex commercial lines, property, liability, and financial lines risk placements.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, manage, and scale a large team of broking professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
