In line with strategic portfolio expansion, this position offers an engaging opportunity to drive comprehensive risk and compliance governance across multiple operational pillars.
- Drive alignment with organizational governance standards by delivering strategic guidance to business units on regulatory obligations and risk mitigation.
- Oversee vendor and third-party risk management frameworks, establishing key risk indicators to proactively track and address emerging exposures.
- Execute independent second-line assurance across operational risk and enterprise risk domains in accordance with MAS Guidelines.
- Perform risk and control self-assessments alongside control effectiveness testing to evaluate operational readiness and oversee remediation efforts.
- Support annual compliance mandates and lead strategic governance projects in close coordination with senior leadership.
About the manager/team
You will join a dynamic and supportive team reporting directly to the department head, offering wide cross-functional exposure and continuous learning opportunities across diverse risk disciplines.
Skills and experience required
- Practical knowledge of financial regulatory standards, particularly MAS Guidelines on operational risk and enterprise risk management.
- Proven track record in risk governance, control testing, RCSA execution, and third-party risk oversight.
- Professional background within regulated financial institutions, insurance firms, or financial advisory organizations.
- Strong appetite to stretch beyond a single discipline, take on broader team coverage, and manage evolving portfolios.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to articulate regulatory requirements clearly to business partners.
