Working closely with management, this role involves creating and implementing the Emergency Action Plan and acting as the central point of contact for all site-related EHS issues, including incident reporting, investigation, and resolution.
Develops, maintains, and directs the execution of the local health, safety, security, and environmental management systems.
Takes ownership of EHS incident management and drives implementation of programs and actions stemming from risk assessments and post-incident follow-up.
Organizes and performs site-wide EHS meetings, audits, and inspections to monitor regulatory compliance, assess performance, determine corrective measures, and verify their effectiveness.
Provides expert guidance to site personnel, contractors, and visitors on all health, safety, and security matters, ensuring strict adherence to all company, industry, local, and national standards.

skills and experience required

Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience
Familiar with the requirements of relevant standard such as ISO 14001; ISO 45001 or OSHSAS 18001
Registered with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer and SCDF as Fire Safety Manager
