Randstad is partnering with a leading logistics company to hire a Facility Building Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and overall management of 5 buildings. You will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence across all assigned sites.
about the job
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the smooth performance of all M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lifts.
- Plan and implement both preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Manage space utilization, cleanliness, landscaping, and overall building presentation.
- Ensure full compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters and issues.
- Manage external vendors including cleaning, security, maintenance, pest control, and landscaping services.
- Review and negotiate service contracts, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Coordinate vendor works to minimize disruption to building users.
skills and experience required
- Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant supervisory experience managing multiple sites, ideally within commercial, industrial, or high-tech environments.
- Preferably individuals with lean six sigma
