Key Responsibilities
... Deliver on-site and remote technical support, commissioning, and servicing for navigation systems onboard vessels.
Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and workshop testing to ensure equipment functions at optimal standards.
Prepare technical documentation including service reports, cable layouts, and system updates.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide backend support and resolve customer issues efficiently.
Assist the sales team with technical input when needed and manage administrative tasks linked to service activities.
Support other ad-hoc technical assignments as required.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
Prior hands-on experience with ship navigation systems is essential; experience with bridge or propulsion control systems is a plus.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills, especially in remote support settings.
Willingness to travel internationally at short notice for service assignments.
