about the role
A pioneering company is seeking a highly strategic and analytical Finance Director for the APAC region. You will be pivotal in driving business growth, providing essential insights and analysis to shape regional strategy. You will be collaborating with various teams to align financial goals with business objectives, driving profitability and efficiency across the APAC region. You will build financial projections and annual operating plans, lead month-end accounting closures and audits, and manage treasury operations. You will partner closely with business, product, and leadership teams to develop revenue, cost, and pricing models, track performance against budget, and prepare comprehensive business performance reports for leadership. You will also develop sophisticated financial models, evaluating business opportunities, improve financial processes, and lead financial evaluations for potential expansion, investments, and partnerships. You will act as the primary liaison between the Finance department, internal teams, and headquarters regarding regulatory financial reporting requirements.
skills and exprience needed
The ideal candidate should have an MBA or CPA and at least 10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, including significant experience in a lead or management role. You must demonstrate strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. You should have experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools, such as SQL and NetSuite, and be capable of providing data-driven recommendations to management. You require strong quantitative and qualitative thinking skills, the ability to work with ambiguity, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of relevant products or audit, financial, and/or risk management products is highly preferred. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Prior experience in high-growth companies is a plus.
