about the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Finance Manager to join a forward-thinking finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial operations, including the timely and accurate closing of accounting books, preparation of various financial and regulatory reports, and management of treasury functions. You will play a crucial role in providing financial guidance to management and business operations, as well as liaising with external auditors and consultants for statutory reporting. This role requires a proactive approach to continuous process improvement and the maintenance of strong internal controls.
skills and experience needed
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in finance and a keen interest in the fintech sector. You must have a degree in accounting/finance or a professional certification (e.g., ISCA, ACCA, CPA). The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience in the securities brokerage industry, FP&A, or a Big 4/audit firm. Proficiency in MS Excel (lookups, pivot tables, etc.) is essential. The ideal candidate is self-driven, meticulous, and organized, with the ability to adapt to a versatile work environment and solve problems outside of their predefined job scope. Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
