about the job
- Assist in the preparation of credit applications, annual reviews, and semi-annual reviews. This requires performing an in-depth analysis of clients' financial standing, evaluating industry and country risk, and summarising the business outlook.
- Familiarise with and adhere to the institution's internal credit policies and processes. You will help co-present credit proposals to senior management and the Credit Committee alongside RMs.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc updates to the team on relevant market, banking, and country news impacting the FI sector
- Assist in liaising directly with clients and counter parties to handle transaction-related matters
- Support the RMs in fulfilling essential regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly related to AML/KYC
skills and experience required
- > 3 years of credit experience in a bank, preferably with bank and/or non-bank FI coverage
- Good understanding of the global FI industry
- Independent, Meticulous and able to multi-task
- Excellent communications skills to manage relationships with stakeholders
