Financial Strategy: Develop and execute long-term financial strategies that align with the family's global wealth objectives and risk tolerance. This includes managing cross-border assets and multi-currency cash flow, while also adapting to changes in local and global policies.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Lead the creation of annual budgets covering local operational costs, cross-border investment expenses, and family member financial arrangements. Establish a budget monitoring system to track variances and suggest optimizations for efficient fund use.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with local Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide global insights on asset allocation and investment returns.
Tax Planning & Compliance: Formulate tax planning strategies that are compliant with local tax policies and global tax treaties. Manage local tax filing and ensure cross-border tax compliance to mitigate risks.
Investment Support: Provide financial support for global investment decisions by conducting due diligence on potential projects and monitoring financial performance. Establish a financial risk control system in line with local regulatory environment.
Family Services & Succession: Offer personalized, cross-border financial services to family members. Assist in developing family wealth succession plans by using tools like trusts and equity structures under local legal framework.
External Collaboration: Collaborate closely with local and international institutions, such as banks, accounting firms, and law firms, to manage cross-border financial matters
skills and experience required
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or economics. Professional certifications like Singapore CA, CPA, CFA, or ACCA are preferred.
Experience: At least five years of experience in a financial role, including a minimum of three years in a senior financial management position within a family office, private bank, or multinational financial institution in Singapore.
Skills: Proficient knowledge in financial accounting, tax regulations, and budget management. Knowledge in cross-border financial analysis and modeling are required, along with familiarity with global investment products and valuation methods.
Language: Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for handling financial reports, legal documents, and communicating with family members.
