about the role
As the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis APAC, you'll be a key partner to business leaders across the region. This is a highly visible and impactful role where you'll lead critical planning cycles, including annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. Your work will involve more than just reporting; you'll be a strategic advisor, providing in-depth variance analysis and actionable recommendations to enhance profitability and efficiency. You'll prepare and present detailed reports to management and support executive teams with financial models for major initiatives, such as new market entries and expansions. This role offers the chance to truly influence the company's direction by ensuring all decisions are data-driven.
skills and experience needed
We're looking for a proactive and experienced finance professional who is ready to make a significant impact. You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification, with a CPA or ACCA professional qualification being preferred. You'll need at least 5 years of relevant work experience in FP&A, with a background from a Big 4 accounting firm and experience in a listed company being highly valued. Strong technical skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis are essential. Just as important are your soft skills: excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as you will need to clearly present financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills will be key to your success in this role. Lastly, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
