about the company

My client is a rapidly expanding global commodities group, they are seeking an entrepreneurial trading leader to build and scale a new global fertilizer trading platform.

The leader will take full ownership of the trading lifecycle—from origination and strategy to execution and risk management. The mandate offers high visibility, with a direct reporting line to the C-suite and the autonomy to design the long-term strategic roadmap for the division.

• Manage the full trade cycle including origination, pricing, negotiation, logistics coordination, and settlement
• Establish relationships with global producers, suppliers, and offtakers to identify new arbitrage opportunities and trade flows
• Manage price, counterparty, and operational risks, ensuring strict adherence to internal credit policies and compliance frameworks.
  
• Coordinate with operations, finance, and logistics teams to optimize the utilization of the Group's existing infrastructure
