This position is a leadership role combining strategy, team management, and hands-on community development across multiple markets:
Regional Strategy & Growth: Define and execute the strategy for scaling thousands of communities on major digital platforms (e.g., closed groups on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook) across three key markets.
Team & Partnerships: Lead a team of Community Managers and build high-trust partnerships with key influencers and brand partners to drive joint initiatives.
Engagement & Programs: Design and run both online and offline programs (workshops, campaigns) to increase user loyalty, trust, and active participation.
Insights & Advocacy: Act as the voice of the community internally, using data and KPIs (retention, satisfaction, growth) to inform product development and measure success.
skills and experience required
The client is looking for a leader with 8+ years of relevant experience, including:
Proven success building and scaling digital communities across platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook Groups.
Strong background in people management and leading teams across multiple regions (SG/MY/ID experience is a major plus).
Expertise in influencer marketing, social media marketing and running engaging community programs/events.
A genuine passion for the specific lifestyle segment the platform serves and an analytical approach to community health and growth.
