In this position as a Head of Property, you will be expected to cover the asia pacific region and manage a sizable team. The ideal incumbent will be expected to lead and manage the team to ensure effective resource allocation and optimal performance and drive business growth.

You will be involved in the risk assessment and decision making process not just for the team but the overall business. Evaluating, analyzing reports, appraisals and financial standing to determine risk factors and ensure compliance and regulations are not compromised.

This position will be well suited for someone who has experience monitoring the underwriting portfolio, analyzing data and preparing reports on performance to identify issues and suggest corrective measures to enhance profitability across Asia pacific regions. The successful incumbent needs to be ambitious, driven, creative and here to make an impact.

skills & experience required

• 15+ years of relevant experience in property/commercial lines underwriting
• Strong leadership experience and experience managing a team with successful track records
• Multinational exposure and strong understanding on guidelines across asia pacific region
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to think outside the box
• Experience managing P&L and strong stakeholder management skills
