key responsibilities:
- B2B Sales Leadership & Revenue Ownership
- Take full ownership of the B2B sales portfolio, with a primary focus on buffet catering solutions.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of more than 10 sales professionals.
- Deliver consistent, predictable revenue growth, with direct accountability for hitting monthly and annual sales targets.
- Outbound Growth & Sales Enablement
- Grow and professionalize the outbound sales channel with a strong focus on training, playbook development, and execution.
- Optimize and scale inbound lead handling and ensure a seamless experience for repeat business customers.
- Drive better sales discipline and tracking, especially in outbound prospecting and customer relationship building.
- People & Culture Leadership
- Hire, coach, and retain top-performing team members across sales and coordination.
- Create a performance-oriented team culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and continuous development.
- Foster a culture aligned with the company’s core values.
- Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Fulfilment, Marketing, and Customer Care to align sales strategies with wider business goals.
- Stay AI-aware - Embrace the potential of automation, tools, and data to sharpen decision-making and productivity.
qualifications and experience:
- At least 3 years in sales leadership roles
- Proven ability to scale teams and deliver strong sales performance in businesses within the SG$30m - SG$100m range.
- Proactive mindset towards adopting new technologies, with openness to leveraging tools like AI to drive efficiency and innovation across the sales function.
- Track record of success managing high-performing sales teams and creating clear outbound strategies.
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to zoom out into strategy as the team stabilizes.
- Highly data-literate, knows how to track and talk about past sales numbers and performance metrics.
- Able to communicate with a largely mandarin speaking kitchen staff.
- Energetic, values-aligned, and adaptable to a lean, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with startup or scale-up environments is highly preferred.
