Reporting to the Managing Director, this standalone HR leadership role will balance operational execution with strategic functions. In addition, you will:
- Manage the end to end daily HR & Admin operations
- Identify skill gaps, collaborate with department managers, and design practical learning and development (L&D) plans
- Evaluate external training providers and leverage Singapore government grants (e.g., SkillsFuture, SSG) to maximize training budgets
- Define competency frameworks and drive performance reviews
- Process monthly payroll, CPF contributions, IRAS tax filings (IR8A, IR21), and government-paid leave claims (NS, maternity, childcare)
- Manage end-to-end MOM work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Partner with hiring managers to recruit talent and strengthen the employer value proposition
- Lead office administration, facilities, vendor logistics, corporate medical insurance policies
skills and experience required
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on generalist HR and office administration experience
- Demonstrated track record of introducing practical training programs, competency frameworks, or career development structures.
- Deep understanding of Singapore labor laws, Employment Act, MOM guidelines, CPF, IRAS (including IR21 tax clearance), and local immigration passes.
- Hands-on proficiency with local cloud-based HRIS and payroll software
- Familiarity with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding, WSG programs, and local grant application procedures is highly advantageous
