- Serve as the custodian of procurement policies and practices in Singapore, ensuring full compliance and effective implementation.
- Review and challenge quotations and prescribers’ requirements, proposing suitable alternatives where appropriate.
- Conduct vendor risk assessments, identify potential new suppliers, and enhance the Know Your Supplier (KYS) database.
- Work closely with the Legal department to oversee contract issuance and administration within the contracts database, ensuring proper tracking of deadlines, content, and coverage.
- Proactively manage contract records and documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and submit procurement-related reports to Headquarters in a timely and accurate manner.
- Act as the project manager for all initiatives and projects related to procurement activities, ensuring successful execution and alignment with corporate objectives.
skills and experience required
- Preferably candidates with at least 5 years of procurement experiences in IT category and Professional services; ideally in banking/financial industry
