• Incident Response & Security Monitoring: Track, manage, and escalate security incidents and critical threats. Conduct security awareness training and stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

• Security Product Management: Perform vulnerability assessments and analyze scan results to recommend and track remediation actions. Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms.

• Security Governance & Compliance: Conduct regular security reviews to ensure adherence to policies and industry best practices. Monitor compliance with secure configuration standards and assist with audits.

• Network, Systems & Endpoint Security: Manage, configure, and optimize security tools and platforms to protect on-premises and cloud environments.

• Documentation & Reporting: Implement and update security policies, technical baselines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Prepare and deliver regular reports on security metrics, incident trends, and compliance status.

• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between IT teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to align security strategies and ensure a secure-by-design approach in all projects

skills and experience required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Security Operations.

• Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, WAF, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.

  • Deep understanding of vulnerability management, threat analysis, and incident response (IR) processes.

  • Good understanding of secure network design, endpoint security, and system hardening techniques.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks and risk management practices.

  • Experience with IaC security (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD security.

• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred. Cloud security certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS/Azure Security) are a plus.
