About the role
- Provide end-to-end IT support across infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) and software (business applications, end-user tools).
- Oversee and manage IT vendors and service providers, ensuring quality of service and adherence to SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal users.
- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain basic scripts/automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline routine tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to support IT change initiatives and digital transformation projects.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, especially in AI, automation, and digital innovation, and propose initiatives to enhance the company’s digital employee experience.
- Maintain documentation, support logs, and IT knowledge base.
Skills and experience needed
- Minimum 5 years of IT support experience within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure
- Proficiency in basic scripting languages/tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
- Proven experience in managing external vendors and technology partners.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated, with a strong interest in AI and the latest digital trends to drive continuous IT improvement.
