About the Job
Reporting directly to the CEO, Asia, the Managing Director, Southeast Asia will be responsible for leading and growing a USD 300 million+ regional business spanning seven markets across Southeast Asia. This role carries full P&L ownership and accountability for driving commercial performance, market share growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Leading a team of more than 100 employees across multiple countries, the successful candidate will develop and execute regional growth strategies across eCommerce, retail, and distributor channels while strengthening trade marketing capabilities and customer partnerships. The role will also play a key part in identifying opportunities for business transformation, market expansion, and turnaround initiatives to accelerate growth and improve overall business performance.

...Full ownership of the Southeast Asia P&L, driving sustainable revenue and profit growth.
Develop and execute regional commercial and go-to-market strategies.
Accelerate growth across eCommerce, retail, and distributor channels.
Strengthen trade marketing effectiveness and channel execution across all markets.
Lead and develop country leadership teams and functional leaders across the region.
Build strategic relationships with key retailers, distributors, and business partners.
Drive organisational transformation and turnaround initiatives where required.
Ensure operational excellence, strong governance, and effective resource allocation across the business.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will bring significant regional leadership experience within consumer products, consumer technology, electronics, FMCG, retail, or related industries. You will possess a proven track record of managing large-scale multi-country operations and delivering strong commercial and financial results within a complex regional environment.
Key requirements include:
Extensive experience managing a Southeast Asia business across multiple markets.
Proven ownership of a large-scale P&L with responsibility for revenue growth and profitability.
Strong understanding of eCommerce, modern trade, retail, distributor, and omnichannel business models.
Demonstrated success in driving business growth, transformation, or turnaround initiatives.
Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams and developing high-performing leadership teams.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence internal and external partners across the region.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
