About the Opportunity:
Our client, a reputable player in the energy and petrochemical sector, is currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Drafter cum Document Controller to support their Maintenance & Repair team. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of engineering drawings and technical documentation critical to site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Support the promotion and adherence to site HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards and procedures.
Drawing and Document Control
- Manage and update engineering drawings, including P&ID and CAD schematics, ensuring alignment with site conditions.
- Maintain the database of engineering documents, ensuring timely updates and complete records.
- Conduct site walkdowns to validate drawing accuracy and implement updates where necessary.
Technical Drafting Support
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings for minor construction projects and tender packages (non-EPC).
- Assist various departments—Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and HSSE—with drawing amendments and documentation needs.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum or Chemical Process disciplines.
- Certification in Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant (SWSHPP).
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors, with hands-on exposure to technical drafting and documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and related engineering drawing tools.
Location: Jurong Island, Singapore (Transport from Jurong East)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Normal Hours
