Microsoft 365 Solution Design & Development
- Requirements Analysis: Engage with business stakeholders to capture and define comprehensive functional and technical requirements for Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint.
- Solution Architecture: Design scalable and secure Microsoft 365 architectures covering SharePoint (Online and On-Premises), Teams, OneDrive, and other related services. Ensure alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Customization & Development: Lead the creation and enhancement of Microsoft 365 solutions using native capabilities, SharePoint Designer, Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and custom development (e.g., JavaScript, .NET, SPFx) as needed.
- Workflow Automation: Develop and implement automated business processes using SharePoint workflows and Power Automate to improve operational efficiency.
- Form Development: Build intuitive and effective forms using SharePoint lists, Power Apps, and Microsoft Forms to support data collection and business workflows.
- System Integration: Design and execute integrations between Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, OneDrive), enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP), and third-party applications.
- Branding & UI/UX: Ensure consistent application of organizational branding and user-friendly interfaces across all Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Microsoft 365 Environment Management
- Site Management: Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint sites, collections, and subsites to ensure logical structure and accessibility.
- Security & Permissions: Implement and manage robust security models, including user permissions, group policies, and access controls to safeguard data and ensure compliance.
- Content Management: Define and enforce content governance practices to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and lifecycle control within SharePoint and related services.
- Feature Configuration: Administer and configure Microsoft 365 features to meet changing business needs efficiently.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor system health and performance, conduct regular maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
- Governance & Best Practices: Develop and enforce governance frameworks, including policies, metadata strategies, and information architecture, for effective Microsoft 365 adoption and usage.
- Upgrades & Migrations: Plan and execute migrations and upgrades, including transitions from legacy systems or on-premises environments to Microsoft 365, using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaboration & Support
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with business users, IT teams, and leadership on project status, solution delivery, and Microsoft 365 strategies.
- User Support & Training: Provide technical support, create user documentation, and deliver training sessions to enhance platform adoption and user proficiency.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure seamless operation and integration of Microsoft 365 services.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and environments.
- Leadership & Strategic Contributions
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to foster a high-performing team environment.
- Project Management: Manage Microsoft 365 projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and tracking.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with Microsoft 365 developments, tools, and best practices to ensure optimal platform utilization.
- Strategic Input: Offer insights to inform the organization’s digital strategy and identify opportunities for enhancing collaboration and productivity through Microsoft 365.
- Innovation: Drive adoption of emerging Microsoft 365 technologies to improve business processes and enable digital transformation.
- Architectural Leadership: Provide leadership in designing robust, secure, and high-performance SharePoint (Online/On-Premise) and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of X members (adjust as applicable).

skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 solution design, development, and administration, including SharePoint (Online and On-Premises).
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture and Microsoft 365 services.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint development, Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and custom development using JavaScript, .NET, and SPFx.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 service integration (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Exchange).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security, user management, and compliance.
- Proven experience in executing migrations and upgrades within Microsoft 365 environments.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiar with governance, compliance frameworks, and best practices related to Microsoft 365.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Microsoft 365 and SharePoint technologies.

- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate, or equivalent.
