about the role
- Be the Subject Matter Expert and support the Payments & Remittance team in the management of Payments related projects
- Gather User and Business requirements and perform gap analysis
- Work closely with the Payments & Remittance Operations Business Unit, vendors, Technology team and Head Office on system enhancement, migration, process improvement initiatives etc
- Manage vendors, resources and budget, as well as monitor project’s progress and timelines
- Facilitate in system function and workflow design, which includes establishing new work procedures and resolving user and system issues
- Update system and operational manuals
- Provide training to local and regional users
- Provide support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Update Management and Head Office on project status and prepare reports
skills and experience required
- At least 5 years of experience in Payments & Remittance Operations within the Banking industry and keen to transit into a Business Analyst role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
- Good communications and stakeholder management skills
- Strong time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Certification in Business Analysis and/or Project Management is a plus
